UPDATED 10AM: Traffic easing is now easing and the broken down car transporter has been cleared away.
A MAJOR road in York is down to one lane with queuing traffic.
A breakdown on the A64 at Copmanthorpe is causing major delays this morning (May 19).
One lane is blocked with very slow traffic due to broken down vehicle and drivers are being asked to avoid the area if at all possible while it's cleared away.
