A CYCLIST is being treated for serious head injuries after a collision with a car.
The accident happened at 2.20pm today on the Iron Bridge in Holgate Road, York.
Details are still sparse and it is not known whether the victim is a man or a woman. But it is reported that the cyclist was bleeding from their nose and ear and had a head wound.
Paramedics were administering treatment while the victim was lying in the road.
Holgate Road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
