TOP match weight of a forgettable weekend in York was Tony Hewson's 74lb 8oz at The Willows.
Hewson of Leeds Angling Centre, fishing at peg 35, alternated waggler and pole with maggot for a dozen carp to 5lb to which he added quality ide.
More than 30lbs adrift was Barry Klar, who used maggot and corn at ten metres from peg 40 to bag himself a respectable 44lb of carp, ide and rudd.
