During his tour of the Middle East, President Bush has tried to rally support for his planned war on Iran and to justify his current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Bush lacks the skill or intelligence to be subtle about his intentions or motives in attacking Iran.

He has promised blood money to some of the most corrupt regimes on Earth that they may assist in this servile murder job. He has little need to bribe our own hive of corruption; they are signed up to any new atrocity he dictates.

The allegation that Iran seeks to develop nuclear weapons is debatable. That they have none and are many years away from obtaining them is indisputable.

Two of the most dangerous nations on Earth have already used nuclear weapons, have recently reaffirmed that they are prepared to use them again on non-nuclear states, and now encourage Israel - another highly volatile nuclear power - in its random attacks on neighbouring states.

We as protesters against the permanent war philosophy may find it hard to fight the megalomaniacs who seek Armageddon, but the tail of the dog is resident and can be confronted in its kennel.

On March 15, as part of international demonstrations against the genocide in Iraq, and marking the fifth anniversary of the invasion, we have one more chance to tell the cringing collaborators in Whitehall how we feel about their wars and their worth.
