Emergency work on major road
EMERGENCY repair work is underway on a main road through York city centre tonight.
A pipe burst about half way down Gillygate has caused water to erupt through the road surface close to Fast Frame.
Yorkshire Water are controlling traffic with stop/go signs today (November 21) close to the junction with Bootham and Lord Mayor's Walk.
