THE Archbishop of York has written a poem inspired by COP26.
Stephen Cottrell shared his poem, entitled ‘Enough’, expressing his hopes that we find a way of living more sustainably and a plea for a more peaceful world.
He recorded a recital of his poem outside Iona Abbey in Scotland, which he shared on YouTube.
It comes ahead of the Church of England’s General Synod two-day meeting, starting on Tuesday, November 26, which will discuss the church's proposed roadmap of how dioceses, cathedrals, parishes and schools can work together towards achieving net zero carbon by 2030. They will receive specialist advice on how to reach their goal.
