AND they are back! During lockdown, The Press regularly featured photos and stories of babies born during the pandemic.
They brought a ray of sunshine and hope at such a bleak time for everyone.
Well now we are bringing our New Babies feature back!
Thanks to all the parents who have been sending in pictures of their new arrivals.
And for sharing their stories - including Daniel and Charlotte Freeman whose baby was born in Scarborough because they could not be admitted to York Hospital because of staffing issues.

Harriet was born in Scarborough despite our local hospital being York due to staffing issues, this meant a staycation for Mam and lots of back and forth trips for Dad. She was born via c-section as she was breech.

Our very special baby Jesse was born at 32 weeks and spent four weeks being cared for at York's SCBU. The team were incredible and we couldn't be more grateful for their care. He came home at 36 weeks weighing almost 5lbs!
