A POPULAR venue in East Yorkshire has announced a string of free live music events featuring some of the region’s best emerging artists.

The popular events, known as ‘Busking in the Bar’, will start again on Friday December 10 at Pocklington Arts Centre. The events give everyone the chance to experience “fantastic” live music within the comfort of PAC’s intimate bar.

PAC Director Janet Farmer said: “We are incredibly excited to be bringing back Busking-in-the-Bar.

“We have some truly talented artists lined up for you so why not come along to soak up the atmosphere and discover some fantastic talent.”

Music from artists such as Lexi Rae Walker, Lily Honey, Alice Simmons and Tim O’Connor will be on show during the events.

Previous Busking in the-Bar sessions at PAC have featured the likes of Jess Gardham, Katie Spencer, Dan Webster, Beth McCarthy, Rachel Croft, Boss Caine, Dave Keegan, Charlie Daykin and Ava Rose.

Entry to the shows is free and the bar opens at 7pm, with the music starting from 8pm. For more details, visit the PAC website.
