CELEBRATIONS are in order for a local company following the successes of one of their most rewarding projects.

The apprenticeship scheme offered by Barratt Developments Yorkshire East has recently seen seven new team members join their ranks to begin a career with the housebuilder.

The apprentices will be provided with a chance to hone their skills as they seek to progress into their new careers.

The experience that they will be able to gain will be unparalleled, and they will be able to work in and around multiple different disciplines of the trade, such as joinery, bricklaying and construction.

Daniel Smith, managing director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire East, said:

“We are delighted to welcome our new apprentices to the team and to see our Apprenticeship Scheme once again supporting more local people, and the wider construction industry. As one of the country’s top housebuilders, we are always committed to developing talent and we are incredibly proud of the opportunities we can provide.”

“We are really looking forward to seeing our apprentice’s careers flourish, and would encourage anyone interested in working in the construction industry to consider the opportunities available with Barratt Developments Yorkshire East.”
