TICKETS for a Christmas pantomime at a popular East Yorkshire venue have been flying out the door - so an extra show has been added to the bill.

The tickets for the matinee show of Mother Goose at Pocklington Arts Centre (PAC) at 2.30pm on Saturday December 11 have sold out, but families can still enjoy all the silliness, slapstick and magic of TaleGate Theatre’s pantomime at 6pm on the same day.

PAC Director, Janet Farmer, said: “Our family theatre offering is such an important part of all that we do at PAC so we are delighted that so many children and their families are going to be able to enjoy our Christmas panto this year.

“TaleGate Theatre never fail to make us laugh so we know this will be a lot of fun this festive season.”

Feathers will fly as Fairy Virtue battles against Baron Vain in a traditional tale of good vs evil. Will Mother Goose be swayed to the dark side of vanity or will she save her best friend, Priscilla, the goose that lays golden eggs? Will Billy Goose marry Jill, the baron’s daughter? Find out during the show.

Tickets for the extra show of Mother Goose can be purchased on the venue's website or by calling the box office on 01759 301547.
