World class cornet player Richard Marshall will hold his first solo gig since before Covid-19 in York.
The principal cornet player of the internationally famous Black Dyke Band will play with the York R I Band at York St John's University on Friday November 26.
He said: "This will be my first solo gig since February 2020 when I was in Taiwan.
"York is a lot closer, so come along and listen to me play Martin Ellerby’s Cornet Concerto, the beautiful Don’t Doubt Him Now and the finish with a loud super F in Kenny Baker's Virtuosity”.
Richard has been with the Black Dyke Band since January 2006, and also played principal cornet with the Grimethorpe Colliery Band for 10 years.
