Muzz, Male

York Press: Muzz (RSPCA)Muzz (RSPCA)

6.5 years old

Muzz was sadly given to the centre after his owner fell too unwell to care for him. Muzz is blind, but it does not stop him from living life to the fullest.

Muzz will need adopters who will help guide him around any dangerous objects or situations as his zest and enthusiasm for life can sometimes put him in tricky situations.

He would like to be the only dog in the home but does not mind living with cats. He can only live with children over the age of 8.

Marley, Male

York Press: Marley (RSPCA)Marley (RSPCA)

Approximately 11 years old

Marley is a sweet natured boy who loves to be around people. He loves cuddles and would sit on your lap for hours taking all the affection he can.

He still loves his walks and loves to have a good sniff and meeting new people.

Marley will need to be the only pet in the home and can live with children age 6 years and over.

Opie and Lola, Female and Male

York Press: Opie and Lola (RSPCA)Opie and Lola (RSPCA)

5 and 7 years old

Opie and Lola have bonded so closely at their previous home, the centre would love for them to be homed together.

Opie and Lola are both fully housetrained and can be left on their own for short periods as they have each other for company.  Although Opie is a giant dog he is ever so gentle and even tries to get on your lap for a cuddle, Lola is quite happy to sit next to you on the sofa for cuddles, so long as they get plenty of fuss and cuddles they want for not much else.

They both walk very well on leads and enjoy a slower paced life.

They can live with children over the age of 12, if they are used to large dogs.

Codi, Female

York Press: Codi (RSPCA)Codi (RSPCA)

5 years old

Codi can be shy until she gets to know you, but once she does she’s a sweet girl who will become your best friend.

She is a very strong girl when out and about so will need adopters who can manage her enthusiasm but also work on her training too.

She doesn’t like to be left, so will need someone who is home for most of the day. She can live with children over the age of 15.
