POLICE have issued CCTV of a man they would like to speak to following a theft.
North Yorkshire Police say the bike theft happened in Bawtry Road, Selby, outside Home Bargains at about 6.20pm on October 1.
A police spokesman said: "A man approached a locked bicycle outside of Home Bargains, removing a tool from his rucksack and cutting the lock. The man then rode off on the bike in the direction of Selby Town.
"Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image as it is believed they will have information that will help the investigation.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Thomas Longhorn or email Thomas.longhorn@northyorkshire.police.uk If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Please quote reference number 12210213331 when passing on information."
