THE Covid rate in York's 10-14 year olds is now more than TEN times higher than in the over 60s.
City of York Council's latest Covid data tracker report says the rate of new Covid cases amongst 10-14 year olds for the period October 10 -16 was 1,674 per 100,000 population.
That compares with just 152.3 per 100,000 population for York people aged over 60.
The second highest rate is 537 for people aged 4-44, and the third highest is 512 for people aged 15-19.
