A 60-YEAR-OLD man has suffered facial injuries during a serious assault in York - in which he was attacked by two younger men.
The incident happened at the Clifton side of the Scarborough Bridge at around 11pm yesterday (October 21), when the victim was attacked by at least two young males.
North Yorkshire Police officers are appealing for witnesses and information including details of anybody seen in the area at the time.
Police said it is believed there were at least two young males involved in the incident, both wearing hoodies, but no further details are known regarding their description.
