STAFF from a care home in York put the 'fun' into fundraising by joining a charity walk to support the Alzheimer’s Society.

The team from the Ouse View home in the city took part in the Memory Walk at Castle Howard to support the charity's work.

Pauline Hodgson, general manager at Ouse View said: “We love to fundraise for charities throughout the year, we pick different causes to support that have been selected by staff, residents and friends of the home.

"Alzheimer’s Society is a cause very close to the hearts of all our staff and residents, so we feel really proud to have been able to raise this money. Thank you to everyone who donated.”

Overall, the team raised £1,337 for the Alzheimer's Society.

The home, which provides dementia, residential and respite care, is welcoming new residents to ensure that the team are there for those that need care and support. You can call them on 01904 615110 if you are looking for care or need any further help.
