Woman taken to hospital after crash on main route
A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a crash.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they joiuned ambulance crews on the scene of a an accident at 3.14pm this afternoon (October 15) on the A64 at East Knapton near Malton.
A spokesman for the service said: "Malton and Sherburn crews attended a single vehicle crash where a car had left the carriageway.
"One woman driver was helped from the vehicle by paramedics and taken to hospital via road ambulance for treatment.
"Crews made the vehicle safe before leaving."
