Hospitality has suffered greatly since Brexit, with the shortage of chefs and other restaurant and bar staff probably caused by many of them now seeking alternative employment or leaving the country.

Then of course there is the fact that to train as a chef you are required more often than not to go to college to learn.

What happened to ‘earning on the job’? In many cases this was the norm years ago. What better way to develop your skills alongside a chef? Hands on visual experience and assistance. Maybe this would alleviate the problem.
