Could Mr Robb please tell me where all his British food can be purchased (Carbs and carbon, Letters, October 13)?
Our local supermarket is half in darkness, with many shelves empty, because of there being no workers to process pigs or chickens or pick vegetables.
Brexit must have spurred them on to return to Geoff’s beloved Europe, along with thousands of HGV drivers - including fuel tankers, bus drivers, delivery vehicle drivers, etc.
One good thing: this will at lest decimate the carbon footprint Geoff alludes to.
Perhaps we can revert to the old push bikes with a huge basket on the front I used in the fifties as a lad to deliver groceries?
