The top 10 best cities in the UK has been revealed and York features in the list (PA)
York has been voted one of the best cities in the UK in 2021.
Conde Nast Traveller joined forces with its sister title in the USA to rank the top ten cities in the UK based on nightlife, restaurants and friendliness and York came in at tenth place.
The city is famous for its history and it is home to The Shambles, York Minster and the City Walls.
York is a tourism spot full of independent cafes and restaurants for all to enjoy.
In the poll, York scored 77.69 and was just beaten by Bath and Belfast with scores of 78.33 and 79.16 respectively.
