HERE are the latest temporary traffic restrictions for York:
WHELDRAKE LANE, WHELDRAKE
Between the junction with the A19 at Crockey Hill and the junction with Benjy Lane, Wheldrake during road resurfacing works from 8pm on October 11 to 5am on October 15. It is envisaged that the road will only be closed between 8pm and 5am each night.
WIGGINTON ROAD LEVEL CROSSING, YORK
For track maintenance from 11.35pm on October 12, 2021 and ending at 6am on October 13, 2021. An alternative route for diverted vehicles will be signed.
PUBLIC FOOTPATH WIGGINTON NO. 2, WIGGINTON
Between Church Lane and The Village, Wigginton during footpath resurfacing works from October 11 to November 30.
MAIN STREET, ELVINGTON
Between No 4, The Larches, and Derwent Cottage for road resurfacing works from 7.30pm on October 18 and ending at 5am on October 22. It is envisaged that the road will only be closed overnight.
PICCADILLY, YORK
Between the roundabout controlled junction with Merchantgate and a location approximately 70 metres north-west of the junction from 11.59pm on October 21 to 2.30am on October 22. An alternative route for diverted vehicles will be signed.
LENDAL, YORK
For gas mains works, from 6pm on October 18 to 6am on October 22. It is envisaged that the road will only be closed between 6pm and 6am each night. An alternative route for diverted vehicles will be signed during the works period.
MICKLEGATE, YORK
No pedestrians or vehicles allowed to use or wait on the southern side of Micklegate, between numbers 105 and 127 (The Micklegate Public House) during building demolition works from 8am on October 18 to 4pm December 24. An alternative route for diverted pedestrians will be signed during the works period.
ST MARY’S, YORK
Closed for road resurfacing works from 8.30pm on October 18 til 5am on October 22. It is envisaged that the road will only be closed overnight.
THE HORSESHOE, YORK
During gas mains works from 8am on October 18 til 8am November 8. An alternative route for diverted vehicles will be signed during the works period.
