Riding a bike on the pavement is against the law, says Graeme Robertson
While understanding the concern of the ‘name withheld’ correspondent (Letters, October 4), he must be aware that both the Highways Act and Road Safety Act specifically prohibit cycling on the pavement.
By encouraging his son to ride on the pavement he is encouraging the boy to break the law, and may himself be an accessory to the fact.
