A POPULAR sandwich shop chain is holding a recruitment day to fill job vacancies at its new store in York.

Pret a Manger is looking for front-of-house and kitchen staff for its new shop at York Railway Station, as well as branches in Parliament Street and York Designer Outlet.

Candidates should apply via the Pret website or take their CV to the Parliament Street store between 9am and 5pm on Thursday, October 7.

The vacancies are among the latest to be advertised for York and surrounding areas as part of a city-wide recruitment drive, which today sees the York Jobs Fair making a comeback.
