A fire at a bungalow in Selby Picture: Station Manager Tony Walker
THE cause of a house fire is under investigation.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at 1.55pm yesterday (September 29) to Bright Walk in Selby.
Crews from Selby and Tadcaster attended a bungalow fire. They used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to put the fire out. The gas board also attended to isolate the supply to the property.
Station manager Tony Walker said: "There were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.
"Be careful where and when you burn rubbish, always make sure the fire is out: fire kills."
