A YORK man has been charged with raping a woman - with a trial set for 2022.
Gordon Michael Campbell Thomas, 71, appeared before York Crown Court on Monday, September 27.
He has been charged with administering a substance with intent to stupefy/overpower to allow sexual activity and two counts of rape of a woman aged 16 or over.
Campbell Thomas, of Ascot Way, York, pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
His case was adjourned with a trial set for April 4, 2022, at York Crown Court.
