POLICE have issued an image of a man they want to speak to following an unprovoked attack on three youths.

North Yorkshire Police say that incident happened at about 4pm on Wednesday, August 18 and involved a man described as white, 5ft 10in tall with a shaven head in Sowerby Flatts, Thirsk. He was wearing sunglasses, Adidas zip-up hoodie, white T-shirt, and blue denim jeans with white trainers.

A police spokesman said: "It is alleged that this man assaulted a teenager in an unprovoked attack as the victim was sat with his two friends following a game of football on the Flatts.

"Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the man in the images as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.
