FIRE crews were called to an incident involving a shed on fire in York this afternoon - and managed to save the house from damage.
Crews from York and Tadcaster were called to the incident in Acomb earlier today.
The shed was destroyed by the flames, but the crews saved the house from serious damage.
There were no injuries sustained during the incident. The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
Acomb and Huntington station manager, Tony Walker, tweeted about the incident:
