A YORK theatre is showcasing Yorkshire’s 'most-talented' this Sunday in an all-variety performance.
Joseph Rowntree theatre will be hosting the Yorkshire’s Got Talent Live show, which comes after their virtual competition last year.
Hannah Wakelam, York theatre student, came up with the idea to raise money for the Raise the Roof appeal, to support the theatre during the pandemic.
The competition was an overall hit, won by Edward Atkin based on judging and a public vote, and reached over 4,000 Facebook followers.
The eclectic mix of 13 contestants, many with drama school experience, are performing - singing, comedy, dance, and opera.
The show is this Sunday, September 26 at 7pm, and tickets are available at: josephrowntreetheatre.co.uk, with all profits going to the appeal.
