I, like many, have been struggling to see or even speak to a doctor.
Because of Covid restrictions, a face-to face appointment is akin to winning the lottery or finding a four leaf cover.
After suffering with a bad knee for over a month and trying to self medicate with heat / cold / rest / painkillers / a knee bandage and light exercise, I sought an appointment at the doctors’.
After 44 minutes waiting on the phone I basically filled in a questionnaire, and received a text reply informing me the doctor would contact me within 10 days.
With my mobility gradually getting worse I again contacted the surgery only to be advised to make my own arrangements with the physiotherapy department (they provided contact details).
I’m still awaiting a reply.
