THE number of Covid patients being treated at North Yorkshire hospitals has increased over the last week.
The NHS has today confirmed that the total number of Covid patients at the county's hospitals is 131 - compared to 122 this time last week. Of the 131 patients, 21 are on intensive care units (ICU) - a drop of five compared to last week.
Thirty-nine patients are at York Hospital, seven at Scarborough, 10 at Harrogate and 75 at South Tees.
On the county's borders, there are 40 patients at Darlington Hospital and 16 at Airedale.
