YORK'S Disney store is among a selection of store undergoing "consultation" over its future.
Disney Stores released the statement this afternoon - 25 days after the branch on Parliament Street was marked as “a retail storefront for rent” by Green & Partners LLP.
It is understood discussions will take place with "an initial group" of stores across the UK.
This includes the York store, a spokesperson confirmed.
The spokesperson said: "We are currently in consultation with an initial group of Stores in the UK, including our York store."
