Child gets bike spokes stuck in their leg
A NINE-YEAR-OLD needed medical treatment after they ended up with bike spokes in their leg.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at 3.39pm to Dodsworth Avenue in York yesterday.
A spokesman for the service said: "A crew from Acomb attended an incident where a 9-year-old was trapped in a bicycle with spokes in their leg.
"An ambulance crew were in attendance when fire crews arrived and no action was needed was from fire crew."
