Police are dealing with a serious crash near Sheriff Hutton
A SERIOUS crash has led to the closure of a road near York.
North Yorkshire Police tweeted that Lilling Lane, near Sheriff Hutton, had been closed to traffic while officers dealt with a serious road traffic collision.
"Please avoid the area if possible," it added.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews from Huntington and Acomb attended a collision at just after 6pm and assisted police and ambulance services, but had since left the scene.
