Firefighters rescued a child and a dog who had both been locked inside cars yesterday
FIREFIGHTERS were called in to rescue a child and a dog who had both been accidentally locked inside cars in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the small child was released with a window breaker from a car in St Thomas Street, Scarborough, yesterday lunchtime.
A crew from Malton also released a dog from a car using small tools in Main Street, Bulmer, near Malton, later in the afternoon.
