THREE drivers are off the road for at least three years each after they appeared before York Magistrates Court.
One, who was cannabis driving, was also sent to prison. The other two were drink drivers.
Declan Ronald Simpson, 27, of Stray Road, York, was banned from driving for three years.
He admitted drink driving at the Shell Garage on Hull Road on April 19 and was given a 12-month community order with 100 hours’ unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay a £95 statutory surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
Richard Colin Wade, 44, of Cross Gates Lane, Cross Gates, Leeds, was jailed for 20 weeks.
He admitted cannabis driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. All the offences were committed at the A64 and A19 Fulford interchange on June 5.
He was banned from driving for 40 months.
Ryan Christopher Pollard, 26, of Chaloners Road, Dringhouses, was banned from driving for 40 months.
He admitted drink driving on Askham Lane on April 23. He was also fined £140 and ordered to pay a £34 statutory surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
