A MAIN road into York has been blocked after a crash
North Yorkshire Police tweeted that motorists should avoid the B1224 Wetherby Road just outside Rufforth.
It said emergency services were currently at the scene of a collision and the road was closed to allow them to deal with the incident, which happened near to the junction of Mill Lane.
"Motorists are advised to find alternative routes," it added.
