MINECRAFT fanatics from York could get paid to play games as Parkdean Resorts searches for an expert builder.

With many resorts on the North Yorkshire coast, the company is offering £500 to anyone with designing skills and in-depth knowledge of Minecraft materials and tools to create what it calls "a new exciting feature".

Candidates need a good knowledge of the Minecraft gaming platform and how to build amazing creations from scratch.

The company also wants to hear from people with "impressive creativity skills" and the "ability to work under pressure (to fight off Creepers and Zombies!)".

To enter, contenders need to create a wildly imaginative creation for one of Parkdean’s holiday parks using Minecraft - it could be the world's tallest water slide or a caravan made entirely of flowers.

People then need to visit the Parkdean website - www.parkdeanresorts.co.uk - and upload a picture of their Minecraft invention, a short description of the creation and why they think it will make a great feature.

Applications must be submitted before midnight on May 23, 2021. If successful, Parkdean Resorts will be in contact by May 28, 2021.

Entrants must be 18 or over. If you're under 18, your parent or legal guardian can enter on your behalf. You must live in the UK.
