SEWERBY Hall and Gardens has put a call out for stall holders for their winter event to be held around Christmas time.

After the disappointment of cancelling the event last year, the team have began work on organising this year's festivities.

Full details will be made available next month. In the meantime, the event organisers are looking for up to 28 stall holders to take part to offer local crafts and foods.

Marie Gascoigne, general manager, Sewerby Hall and Gardens, said : "To add an extra dimension to this year’s planned event, we are very keen to work with local stall holders to create a special area where people will be able to buy local products.

“We would love any local business who would like to find out more to contact us.

"We look forward to a great response."

The next phase of the reopening of Sewerby Hall and Gardens began this week, with the reopening of the house itself, including a new exhibition called 'Our Sewerby'.
