I’m not a fan of the UK’s ‘Impresario-General' Boris Johnson. I’d like to be a fan of worthy and earnest Sir Keir Starmer. But for me at any rate there’s a snag.
As Labour stalks the Tories in the opinion polls, the challenge for some might be that, of the many adjectives which could be appended to the PM (take your pick) ‘boring’ would not be one of them.
However, despite what he says and stands for, it’s an accusation that somehow could be levelled at the Leader of Her Majesty’s Official Opposition.
Just my perception, to which I give voice with a heavy heart.
