A STAND-UP comedian is set to play a show at Pocklington Arts Centre (PAC), in what will be his third show at the venue.

Acclaimed stand-up comedian Mark Watson has announced a show at PAC on Saturday February 12 next year.

Watson is known for numerous TV appearances including Taskmaster, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For you and surviving Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.

PAC Director, Janet Farmer, said: “It will be an absolute joy to welcome Mark Watson back to the venue. We had him perform live at PAC in 2016 and again in 2019.

“After the year we have just had, I think we could all do with some laughter, so Mark is the perfect addition to our forthcoming programme of live comedy.”

During lockdown Mark joined Your Place Comedy, performing live online from his living room, as part of the project to support independent venues across the Yorkshire and Humber region, including PAC.

Tickets for Mark Watson live at PAC are £20 each and are on sale now at the venue's website at: www.pocklingtonartscentre.co.uk
