A MAJOR hotel chain is recruiting ahead of reopening its properties including a North Yorkshire retreat.

Warner Leisure Hotels is looking for chefs, restaurant and bar teams, housekeepers, gardeners and maintenance workers, on full and part-time contracts, at five hotels in England, including Nidd Hall Hotel, near Harrogate.

Built in the 18th century, the a grade-II listed mansion is set in 45 acres with award-winning gardens where, rumour has it, Edward VIII met Wallis Simpson at a party.
