DIVERSITY have announced further dates for their 2022 'Connected' tour with two shows taking place in York.

The street dance troupe who shot to fame after winning Britain's Got Talent have created extra shows after phenomenal demand across the UK and Ireland.

Diversity took the nation by storm after winning the 2009 series and have so far sold out nine UK and Irish tours and sold over 600,000 tickets with countless television and live performances.

There will be two shows at the York Barbican - one is a rescheduled gig taking place on Monday, April 4, 2022 with a new event set for Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

For those attending the April 4 show, original tickets remain valid.

The show, created by street dancer and choreographer Ashley Banjo, will see Diversity visit 33 towns and cities in four months.

It comes as the group celebrates a nomination for Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment of 2020 at the British Academy Television Awards in June for their moving George Floyd and Black Lives Matter inspired routine on Britain’s Got Talent.

Tickets for the extra dates go on sale on Friday, April 30 at 10am via www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
