A sex offender and two thieves are among those jailed this month at York Magistrates Court.
Pawel Jankowski, 54, of Ousegate, Selby, was jailed for eight weeks.
He had originally been given a community order for a sexual assault,, but then failed to do it. and was resentenced.
He also admitted failing to tell police where he was living as he must do because he is on the sex offenders’ register.
Richard Cook, 42, of Tudor Road, Acomb, was jailed for 26 weeks.
He admitted assaulting a woman on January 23, and two thefts at a Co-op store on March 10 and March 11.
He also admitted failure to attend York Magistrates Court on February 25 and April 7.
He appeared before the same court having been arrested on a warrant.
He was ordered to pay the woman £150 compensation.
Daniel Andrew Whittaker, 30, of The Peasholme Centre, was jailed for four weeks.
He admitted stealing a bicycle from the White Cross Court rehabilitation unit while on prison licence.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £250.
