THERE was one casualty a two vehicle crash.

North Yorkshire Fire And Rescue say they were called out last night (April 22) to the A162 just outside Tadcaster along with the police and ambulance service.

Station manager Tony Walker from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Tadcaster and our police and ambulance colleagues dealt with the incident. There was one casualty extricated by crews and left in the hands of the paramedics.

"They were not believed to have serious injuries."
