Accident on the A64
UPDATED 11.15AM: The accident on the A64 has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
THERE are reports coming in of an accident on the A64.
Emergency services are dealing with an incident on the A64 eastbound between the A659 Tadcaster West turn off and Redhill Field Lane at Bilbrough Top.
It is affecting traffic heading towards York with queues forming.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
It is not known if anyone has been injured at this point.
