THE Strictly Come Dancing line-up rumours have already begun as the nation waits for the iconic TV show to return to our screens.

For many of us, particularly in a year that saw loss and isolation, the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing became a symbol of normality and joy as dancers whipped out their sparkly outfits and fake tan once more.

So it's no surprise that many people are eagerly awaiting the line-up of celebrity dancers, footwork fumbles and, of course, Dave Arch and his wonderful, wonderful orchestra.

When is Strictly Come Dancing this year?

It is not known how or if Covid-19 will affect performances this year with the show launching on the bank holiday weekend of August in normal times (what are those?!).

The 2020 series didn't start until October 17 while the live shows beginning a week afterwards.

Who is expected to take part?

Last year we saw Bill Bailey, Caroline Quentin, Clara Amfo, HRVY, Jacqui Smith, Jamie Laing, Jason Bell, JJ Chalmers, Maisie Smith, Max George, Nicola Adams and Ranvir Singh strutting their stuff on the dance floor.

Looking ahead to the 2021 series, a BBC source reportedly told The Sun newspaper that Professor Chris Witty, the Chief Medical Officer for England and Chief Medical Advisor to the UK Government, may be approached by producers.

Among the whisperings reported by The Sun, other star dancers could include X-Factor finalist Stacey Solomon and Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford and Laura Tobin.

So we're putting the question over to you, who would you like to see take part in series 19 of Strictly Come Dancing? Let us know below...
