FIREFIGHTERS have been battling a huge blaze throughout the night.
Hook Pasture Lane in Old Goole is currently closed both ways due to building fire at a scrap yard at Cottingham Street.
Traffic is coping well.
Cottingham Street is also closed due to the fire which has been ongoing since yesterday evening.
Humberside Fire and Rescue said at 7am today: "We are still in attendance at the fire in Old Goole.
"We have our drone in use which gives both an aerial view of the incident and thermal image capabilities for the crews on the ground."
A large plume of smoke can be seen in the area.
The public are asked to keep their windows closed.
