Trinity is a three-year-old German Shepherd who was brought to the York RSPCA by one of their inspectors after her previous owner could no longer take care of her.

Trinity is very wary when meeting new people, so potential adopters will need to be able to commit to being able to met her several times so she can build up a bond with them before taking her home.

But staff say once Trinity knows you and trusts you she is an absolute gem - she is ever so affectionate and just loves cuddles and attention.

Staff at the centre are looking for adopters who have experience with the German Shepherd breed to give her the best chance of a successful adoption.

Sadly Trinity has recently been diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia for which she requires daily medication, this will need to be continued for the rest of her life.

Staff at the centre are worried this may be putting off potential adopters, which is sad as she has so much to offer a new family.

Trinity has a couple of short walks a day rather than one long as this is better for her hips.

RSPCA staff are looking for an adult-only pet free home for Trinity.

The RSPCA York Animal Home is an independent animal shelter and relies upon the support and funding of our local supporters to allow us to rehome hundreds of cats, dogs, small animals and wildlife each year. To find our more visit rspca-yorkhome.org.uk

Please note, due to the Covid restrictions we are only able re-home to adopters who live in York and the surrounding area.
