"However, officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation."

The collision took place between 2pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday April 7 on a path through woodland in Sandsend near Whuty.
