I went in on Saturday 27th at 7pm to be induced. Nothing happened until Sunday 28th at about 11pm. I was rushed to the labour ward a couple of hours later. Then I had her at 03.10am on Monday 29th!

Lucy was in hospital for a week before the early birth by c-section at 37 weeks due to a medical condition. If felt like the longest week waiting to meet him! The midwives are angels and looked after us both amazingly :)

Amazing, quick, natural birth. Lola had to spend a few days in scbu due to breathing problems after the birth but all the staff in scbu were fantastic. Wee can't thank them enough for getting her better and home to her big brother Teddy!

Anything unusual about the birth?
I was induced. I did it without pain relief. Super proud of myself. I have a low pain threshold and did it! All midwives are fantastic! They always have smile on their faces, they looked after me really well. Few midwives wanted to pop over to see Mia after their shift or started their shift. Midwives are amazing!
